Speech development in a 4-year-old child diagnosed with autism

Speech Development in a 4-Year-Old Child: Before and After Report

This report describes the results of a course aimed at promoting speech in a 4-year-old child. All changes in the child's behavior and speech are described in detail and objectively.

Problems before the course:

The child slept poorly, took a long time to fall asleep and slept poorly at night. Didn't always respond to his name.
I had a poor appetite and ate little. He often lay around the room and couldn’t sit in the living room with his family.
He became hysterical if something didn’t work out. I didn't understand the speech, it's impossible, etc.
He went wherever he wanted and didn’t listen to his parents. There were tantrums, he threw dishes.
It was impossible to take the phone away. Often woke up at night and could cry (there was always a reason).
There were no words of speech at all. He was capricious.
He didn't eat himself, only I fed him. I could watch cartoons for a long time.
There were no gestures. Couldn't change clothes himself.
He loved kissing and hugging, but he didn’t understand how to do it properly. There was limited interest in the surrounding world.

Results after the course:

The child began to fall asleep quickly and sleep very well. Always responds to name.
He has developed a very good appetite and eats buckwheat and meat. He constantly runs with us, plays, and laughs.
Now he asks for help if something is wrong, sometimes he screams. Now he understands a lot of things.
We walk very well, we walk for kilometers, calmly. There are practically no hysterics.
Almost always gives up the phone calmly. Sleeps peacefully all night.
A lot of words have appeared, we repeat poems and songs. Became calm and joyful.
He eats everything himself and drinks everything himself. More interested in games and household items than in TV.
He started kissing, saying hello, goodbye, hugging, and rejoicing. Now he takes off all his clothes himself, but he can’t put them on yet.
I became more interested and my horizons broadened.

Additional results:

Sweats very rarely.
Calmly passes by forbidden food without asking. Watches the children, but does not play yet.
Notices family members, looks intently, calls everyone by name. A pointing gesture has appeared, he points with his finger at everything he wants, at everything he names.
Executes all commands. Picks apples and strawberries (doesn't eat them). Loves to climb, ride, and jump.

These results indicate that the course was successful in helping the 4-year-old child develop speech. However, further research and consultations with specialists are needed to more accurately assess the results.
