A Parent's Review of the LTP Method: Achievements of a Child with Autism

I'd like to share the results we've achieved using the LTP method. My daughter, Mirra, is three and a half years old and diagnosed with autism. She completed the course in January 2024 in Kazakhstan. Now, on April 26, 2024, I'm seeing significant improvements in her behavior and development.

Here are some of Mirra's achievements:

  1. She calmly leaves the house and waits for someone to dress her, helps her get dressed, and tries to put her shoes on herself. Previously, this was a real quest with hysterics.
  2. Before approaching me, he goes up to the teacher, touches her hand and waits for approval to come to me. Previously, she did not like to walk and always sat in a stroller or in her arms.
  3. Gives you your hand when you extend yours, walks happily and loves to climb stairs. Previously, she categorically refused to walk on her own.
  4. Responds to his name, but not always. Previously, she didn't respond to her name at all.
  5. She looks for her brother, asks him to play with her, hugs and kisses him. Previously, she did not notice her loved ones.
  6. Eats all the foods I cook. She used to be very picky about food.
  7. She drinks water with pleasure in good quantities, and has learned to drink through a straw, from a bowl or a mug. Previously, she didn't drink water at all.
  8. She can sit on the potty on her own, but she doesn’t do her “business” yet. She used to be afraid of the sight of a potty.
  9. She can easily do without a phone and gadgets, and gives them away herself when she gets tired of them. Before, she couldn’t live without them and was hysterical.
  10. He looks outside the window with great curiosity. Previously, she only looked at her phone when we were driving in the car.
  11. Looks and notices animals until they approach, until they show interest. She used to be very afraid of animals.
  12. Clearly understands praise and criticism, expects praise “WELL DONE”. Previously, she had no concept of praise and criticism.
  13. He wants to sleep, so he goes and lies down. Previously, she would take a long time to fall asleep with rituals.
  14. I started walking on tiptoes less. She used to walk on tiptoes all the time.
  15. She approaches a person she knows, turns his hand towards her face and looks into his eyes. Before, she never looked anyone in the eye except me.
  16. Plays with toys, cleans out cabinets and shelves. Previously, she didn’t really play with toys; she threw and chewed them.
  17. She comes up to me herself, asks me to play with her, and loves hugs. Previously, she had difficulty visiting and did not make contact.
  18. He calmly looks at forbidden foods when visiting, sometimes he takes them and sniffs them. She used to get hysterical when she saw a forbidden person at a party.
  19. The first conscious word addressed to my grandmother was “APA”. She didn't talk before.
  20. She chooses what to wear herself. Before, she didn't care what she wore.
  21. Before opening, he knocks on the door. She couldn't open the doors before.
  22. She runs into the bathroom and points to the brush, holds it in her hand and cleans as best she can. Previously, until she was three years old, she did not allow me to brush her teeth.
  23. She goes to the towel and dries her face and hands. Previously, she did not allow me to wash my face or wipe it.

These achievements demonstrate that the LTP method truly works and can help children with autism develop and adapt to the world around them. I am grateful to the specialists who helped us during the course, and I will continue to follow their recommendations.
