Asem visited Dr. Lev Levit's Center in October 2020. Her daughter, Adela, was diagnosed with developmental delay. The girl didn't make eye contact, didn't follow requests or commands, wasn't aware of her surroundings or her peers, and didn't interact with her sister or brother. Adela always kept to herself and seemed to be on her own. She had a sweet addiction: she would wake up in the middle of the night demanding them. She would eat two or three large rolls at a time. She also exhibited stims: she would spin around, clap her ears, and endlessly tear up papers.
