A child with developmental delay. What changes were achieved during the LTP method course?

In this video, parents Irina and Viktor from Kyiv, Ukraine, who are taking the LTP course based on Michael Levit's methodology, share the challenges and successes of their child with developmental delay. This course is aimed at rehabilitating children with autism and other developmental disorders, including mental retardation.

Problems and first successes:

  • Leah, 2,5 years old, had problems responding to her name and other stimuli.
  • Five days after the start of the course, the parents began to notice Leah’s first reactions.
  • There were problems with nutrition and hysterics due to misunderstanding.

Interaction with toys:

  • Before the course, Leah did not interact with toys and did not respond to them.
  • After five days, Leah began to interact with toys, putting them away, and hugging them.
  • New syllables and sounds have appeared, which is significant progress.

New skills and behaviors:

  • Leah started drawing and playing with water.
  • Interaction with toys and older sister has improved.
  • Leah began to manipulate objects and ask for help.

Gratitude and plans for the future:

  • The parents are grateful for Leah's progress and intend to continue working with her.
  • They realized that they could influence the child's development and planned more exercises.
  • Parents recommend the LTP course and share their successes.

It is worth noting that mental retardation (MR) is a slowdown in the rate of development of a child, which is expressed in the insufficiency of the general stock of knowledge, limited ideas, immaturity of thinking, low intellectual focus, the predominance of play interests, and rapid oversaturation in intellectual activity.

It's important to understand that every child is unique, and results may vary. However, many parents report positive changes in their children's behavior and development after completing the LTP course.

If you encounter similar problems, it is recommended to contact specialists for more detailed information and advice.
