A child with ASD. What changes have occurred?
The video describes the recovery process of a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using the proprietary LTP method. The story is told from the perspective of the Dr. Levit Center and its young patient, Miron, who is undergoing the LTP remote program.

Child's problems

Six-year-old Miron has several diagnoses : consequences of early organic damage to the central nervous system, mental retardation, and autism spectrum disorder. He had gastrointestinal (GI) and sleep issues that were not addressed by traditional treatment methods. He also had difficulty following commands, acted without meaning, referred to himself in the third person, and showed a lack of interest in the world around him. He disliked kisses or hugs, was inattentive in class, and spoke in short sentences.

Treatment and changes

At the end of November, they began stabilizing his feeding, and in early February, they started LTP. Soon after, the parents noticed significant improvements: his bowel movements returned to normal, his sleep improved, and he began eating and dressing independently. He showed a renewed interest in fairy tales and cartoons, and his communication with others improved. He became calmer and more able to interact with others, and he completed more complex tasks.

Methodology and results

The LTP method helped Miron become more reflective, learn to talk about himself in the first person, create new activities, and show interest in pets. His motor coordination improved, and his sleep patterns returned to normal. His parents are pleased with the results and note that their child's behavior has improved significantly.

RAS

ASD is a general term for a range of conditions characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication, as well as restricted and repetitive behaviors and interests. ASD can manifest with varying degrees of severity and symptoms.

A child with ASD may experience difficulties communicating, understanding others' emotions, and establishing friendships. They may exhibit stereotypical or repetitive behavior, have limited interests, and have difficulty adapting to change.

ASD is not a life sentence, and many children with this diagnosis can lead full lives. However, to do so, they may require the help of specialists and the support of their loved ones.

The video presents specific examples of how the LTP method can help a child with ASD. This gives hope to parents facing this challenge and demonstrates that there are ways to improve the quality of life for children with ASD.
