How to improve your child's future with developmental delay? The LTP method.

A child diagnosed with mental retardation. How can I help my child?

In this video, a parent shares their feedback on the LTP method, which helped their child. They note the positive changes the method has brought to their child and express confidence in their future. The video may be useful for anyone interested in the LTP method and its results.

The video provides a detailed description of changes in the behavior and development of a child diagnosed with developmental delay from early April to late May. The author of the report is the mother of a boy named Demid, who is 3 years and 8 months old.

At the beginning of the observation period, the child had problems communicating and reacting to the arrival and departure of loved ones. However, by the end of the reporting period, some improvements did occur: the child began responding to the door opening and occasionally greeting his father.

Changes in the behavior of the child diagnosed with mental retardation were also noted: he became calmer and less aggressive, more affectionate and smiling, and his interactions with his mother and father improved. The child began sleeping better at night and waking up less frequently, and became less hysterical during the day.

Some improvements in the boy's development were also noted : he began to concentrate better on toys, began to look at himself in the mirror, began to communicate more willingly with his parents, and responded to speech and requests.

However, there are also areas where improvements were either minimal or nonexistent. For example, the child still doesn't speak beyond isolated sounds and doesn't always follow more complex requests. There are also issues with feeding and potty training.

Overall, it can be said that some improvements in the behavior and development of the child diagnosed with developmental delay were noted during the observation period, but there were also areas where progress was insignificant. It is important to continue monitoring and working with the child to achieve more significant improvements.

COURSE START: 16.04.24
BEFORE and AFTER REPORT group: APRIL
PARENT: Natalia
CHILD: Demid - 3.8 years old.
COUNTRY: Russia

1🔴 No communication with children. He's downright aggressive toward his sister.
🟢Everything is the same.
2🔴 No reaction when mom or dad comes and goes. Doesn't greet. No reaction to close relatives (only a consumer reaction, e.g., asking to be picked up).
🟢Now he reacts to the door opening. Sometimes he can run to his dad when he comes home.
3 🔴He doesn't play with toys. They have practically no interest for him.
🟢 Now he can take something and look at toys and books.
4🔴 Twists objects, wheels on cars, jumps on the bed, picks his nose, has "winged" arms.
🟢Everything is the same.
5 🔴No potty training. Doesn't ask to use the potty. Unless you pee everything in your pants.
🟢Now he understands that he needs to go to the toilet (he wets himself a little) and runs to the bathroom to the potty. He can take my hand and lead me to the potty.
6🔴Hyperactivity. Can't sit still. Walks on tiptoes.
🟢Started to periodically fall on the foot.
7🔴No pointing gestures, doesn't wave "bye", doesn't eat on his own, doesn't ask for food, doesn't dress (can only help get dressed)
🟢Sometimes he can wave goodbye.
8 🔴Unders spoken language and carries out simple requests. Will not carry out more complex requests.
🟢Still the same
9 🔴 Responds to name, but may not react.
🟢Still the same
10🔴When we went for walks, he always held my hand. He could run off at any moment, wherever he wanted.
🟢Now he can walk on his own without an arm. But sometimes he can go wherever he wants.
11🔴Concentrates. Looks into eyes. Has difficulty concentrating on toys. Doesn't look at himself in the mirror.
🟢I started looking at myself in the mirror.
12🔴Nutrition. She's picky about food. She won't eat all the new foods she's offered. She drinks little water.
🟢He eats the permitted foods. He also refuses some permitted foods. His water drinking has improved.
13🔴Frequent tantrums, may bite if I don't give him what he wants. Frequent bad mood, laughs for no reason.
🟢 I've become much calmer. Less hysterical. The unprovoked laughter is gone.
14🔴Contact only through pranks (likes to be fooled around with). No hugs, no kisses.
🟢He's become more affectionate and smiles. He hugs and kisses. He offers his cheek to be kissed.
15🔴Doesn't pay attention to the world around him (he only notices the house cat, which he sees constantly)
🟢Now he walks around, examines everything, touches plants, pays attention to animals (how birds fly, the moon), and reacts to animal cries. Some animals also don't interest him.
16🔴 No feeling of fear.
🟢Still the same
17🔴 No sleep schedule. Doesn't sleep during the day. Goes to bed late. It takes me a long time to put him to bed. At night, he can wake up and throw a tantrum.
🟢Now he sleeps at night. He may wake up, but we quickly put him back to bed. He rarely throws tantrums. He also doesn't sleep during the day.
18🔴Doesn't speak. Only sounds. Sometimes mom speaks, but it's not directed speech. Sometimes she also makes yum-yum sounds. She may then remain completely silent for long periods of time.
🟢Now mom is talking again.
19 🔴Intestinal problems. Atopic dermatitis.
🟢My bowel movements have improved significantly. Skin rashes have become less frequent and less frequent.
